All the powders are good, some say they have draw backs.(dirty powder)some you have to put a little more in then others.some a little less.I have been using bullseye and 230gr FMJs for a long time.works fine and only use a little bit of powder to duplicate the Gov. load.I have used other powders over the years and they have all worked well.what you get a deal on is the best powder.as long as it comes from a fresh unopened can.if your pistol gets dirty from firing.it will clean up well.and you will find you spent more attention to detail when cleaning a dirtier pistol.when yer done.ya know ya did a fine job on cleaning her.as far as the AA powder line.it's good stuff.....safe shooting to you..
my huntin rifle is safe from confiscation only while my battle rifle protects it.

I use a load of 5.9 grains of Win. 231 under a H&G #68 bullet weighting 200 grains and make major caliber in action matches.

I started using Longshot about 18 months ago, 875 fps with 230gr cast, much cleaner than Unique.  I'll stick with this combination for a while - it also makes great 12 ga. pheasant loads.
