I don't care...
« on: May 17, 2006, 10:47:37 PM »
I stole this from another site (www.chairforce.com) but is sure sums it up for me...

WHAT'S ALL THE FUSS?

"Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we? Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11, 2001? Were people from all over the world, mostly Americans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania? Did nearly three thousand men, women and children die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet? Well, I don't. I don't care at all!

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia.

I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling, slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and -- you guessed it -- I don't care!"

No, were're fighting a war to secure a strategic foothold in the middle east to control that part of the world.  We started the war by invading Iraq and leaving troops staged in Saudi Arabia.

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of the Koran was "desecrated" when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got it wet? Well, I don't. I don't care at all!

I don't care, either.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turns himself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on 9/11.

Who even really cares about OBL?  I think our government is using him as the "Booger Man".  I'm not convinced he was even involved.  If so, why hasn't he been captured?

I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics in the Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of which is a crime in Saudi Arabia.

Show me one single "Christian" on the entire planet that would die for a Bible.

I'll care when Abu Musab al-Zarqawi tells the world he is sorry for hacking off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through his gurgling, slashed throat.

Nick Berg was a Jew in an Arab war zone.  The ultimate example of stupidity in action.  He tested the waters and fell in.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called "insurgents" in Iraq come out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion by hiding in mosques.

What does religion even have to do with it?   They are people fighting for control of their own country against an invading army, just the way you would if the Mexicans invaded the U.S.  Oh, wait...there's nobody fighting that battle, is there?

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blow themselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children within range of their suicide bombs.

Let them blow each other up.  One less rag kid is one less eventual rag adult.

I'll care when the American media stops pretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from international law instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

What does law have to do with anything?  The law is a convenience thrown into situations to punish the politically unpopular.  If you have friends in the right places you can do anything you want.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about a brave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

How brave does a man have to beat to beat on someone blindfolded and in chains?  Sounds like the LAPD.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of naked Iraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college hazing incident, rest assured that I don't care.

Interogating prisoners for vital information is one thing, but torturing helpless prisoners is cowardly.  I don't care how you justify it.  I don't have a problem with beating the F out of any single one of them, but if you're going to pretend to be a man while beating on someone who can't fight back, you ain't gonna get any nods of respect from me.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in the head when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to the bank that I don't care.

Dead doesn't matter.  I believe that we should kill them all whether they follow instructions or not.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued a Koran and a prayer mat, and fed "special" food that is paid for by my tax dollars, is complaining that his holy book is being "mishandled," you can absolutely believe in your heart of hearts that I don't care.

If he doesn't like the way he's treated, kill him.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimes it's spelled "Koran" and other times "Quran." Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and -- you guessed it -- I don't care!"

I think we should misspell it deliberately, and in any diferent way we can think of, just to get the rags riled up.  Let's get 'em pissed and then finish 'em off.

They may talk of a "New Order" in the  world, but what they have in mind is only a revival of the oldest and worst tyranny.   No liberty, no religion, no hope.   It is an unholy alliance of power and pelf to dominate and to enslave the human race.

Flip, There isn't much I can add, you covered it pretty damned well, I'd say! No disagreement here... now if only a few more american citizens would think it through they too might see the self-evident support for your sentiments.

Well expressed buddy!  :D
