Well....you could use another ballisitcs program.
I just looked around, and found RCBS.LOAD ( RCBS dot Load ).
According to the write up, you can import the data from your
Chrony and do many things with it.

"And you can choose from a list of 1515 component
bullets plus a catalog of over 1400 factory loads."

http://www.gunaccessories.com/RCBS/Reference.asp

Check that, and / or run a Google search on RCBS.load, or
RCBSdotLoad for more links.
I might add, not being a computer person does not help you
when it comes to these things. I guess you are seeing that though.

More Info :
http://www.shootingchrony.com/products_software.htm

IBM/PC INTERFACE

Also available is the IBM/PC Interface. This kit includes an 8 foot patch cord, a 9-pin serial port connection for the patch cord, a 9-pin to 25-pin serial adapter plug, and DOS communications and spreadsheet software. One end of the patch cord plugs into the stereo jack on the Beta and Gamma Chrony®'s; the other end of the patch cable plugs into the 9-pin serial port connection.

In conjunction with our Chrony Ballistics II Software, the IBM/PC Interface lets you download all of the data stored in your Chrony® memory into your IBM/PC compatible computer. This data can be automatically downloaded into a file on your computer for further manipulation by our Chrony Ballistics II Software programs. With Chrony Ballistics II Software, you can generate charts and graphs, calculate down-range performance, et cetera.

The bullet manufacturers provide the BC's in their data books.  Some also provide that information online.

If you can't find a BC for a particular bullet, choose a BC for one that has a similar shape and weight.
