Have a spare barrel I found several years ago. Not the best bore, but still useable and the outside is Savage original and VG. Understand that the 38/55 has the same rim diameter and overall length as a 30/30. If I wanted to fit this barrel to a same era receiver, are there rotaries for other calibers that would feed the 38/55s OK?
