I was driving back to the house tonight, and I saw what looks to me like the first form of "urban expression" inside my town. That's the PC term for vandalism, formerly "graffiti". It looks like just a "tag" to me, but it's in the style that the black gangs use. It was in too small a space to convey much information, and I don't recognize it as any marker from any nationally famous gang. I'm going to go take a picture of it, and any other ones I find.
It could be some stupid kid. There have been incidents like that in other states before. But it looks like this tagger has had some practice. I'll be damned if my town is going to waste its summer public works budget repainting things.
