BFR vs Ruger SA
« on: May 23, 2006, 05:05:04 PM »
I've held BFR revolvers and fired/owned several Ruger SA's.  I recently sold my Hunter model and will probably replace it eventually, possibly with a BFR.  I'm not looking at the long cylinder models, probably a straight 45 Colt or 454.  Looking for BFR owner opinions on the quality/durability of their revolvers versus the Ruger.  The loose cylinder lock up of Rugers has always troubled me.

I have a BFR in 500 Mag and love it.  Well over 2000 rounds and not one problem with full house loads. I like everything about the gun.  :D
