This is my NT NEF receiver which was brand new before being mated to the 24" .223 bull barrel from Big Blue (some of ya might remember him) and the UVF stock set which I purchased used supporting a .243 bull barrel on a well used HP receiver. It also wears a Simmons Aetec 3.8-12x44 and shade in this pic, but will be wearing a Japan Tasco 6-24x44 with 3" shade for the shoot.
The standard bull barrel is a good fit to the UVF stocks for those of you who may be contemplating trying the setup yourself. This setup is shooting the WWB 45gr. into about 3/4" at 100 yds. right now with none of the accurizing tricks. And that's me shooting too. I figure it could better by a steadier hand and eye than mine.
I'll also be bringing a Savage 12FV 22-250 and a Ruger MKII 220 Swift.........and the infamous 445 SuperMag busting out some 180 XTP's at around 2400-2500fps :eek: .
