Steve,

Did you look for Wheels on Where to find Blackpowder Cannons and shooting supplies at the top of the board?

Yes I did but can't find the correct diameter. I need 21" dia. and would like them to be a fairly close reproduction of the origionals.
I could build them but that would really slow down the project.

bpsteve,

Please correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe that the original Mt. Howitzer wheels were 38". So, being a half scale you would need 19" wheels. I know I've come across a few 18" & 20" wheels in my surfing. But, I don't think they were cannon wheels (14 spoke, 12 for Mt. Howitzer) but, more of a wagon wheel type. I'll see if I can find them again as it's been quite some time. Even finding a 19" wheel might be pretty tough as it would be a non standard item due to the size. However, if you come across a set let me know.

I just went through all the Wheel links.  Some are wheel suppliers and some are wheel makers.  Drop an email to each of the wheel makers and tell them what you want and see what they say....be sure and give us feedback

Ooops! Correction...

The Pack carriage had 38" wheels and the Prairie had 42"

Sorry.  :(
