I am going to have to go back to the great General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson. He said so himself that he loved the union but that he loved his state, his country, and would die to protect it. Those Southern boys were the same way, they were protecting their homes, their property, their family, their rights, and were willing to die for it. I love America, and am thankfull every day to be here, but I am also saddened every day seeing how corrupt, and far from what the founding fathers intended for us to be. (read as liberal)
