The best one is the S&K which is made of steel and is rock solid.I don't like the aluminum ones.
The more I listen,the more I hear....and vice versa.

I have one of the B-Squares, I think, on my No4 Mk1.  It is the aluminum base.  At first it was ok but then started screwing up.  Didn't know what the problem was until I gripped the rifle by the scope to carry it and the scope 'up ended on the base - that is, the base came loose from the from screw.  When I looked I saw that the set screw was just bottomed out against the inside of the loading bridge and that wasn't sufficient to 'lock' it or hold it in place.  I drilled a bit of a 'dimple' in the loading bridge where the screw set and then locked it down and she hasn't moved since.  HTH.  Mikey.

I felt the B-Square didn't fit close enough to the receiver  .
So...I gently squeezed the sides of the mount inward and got a good snug fit over the receiver. I suppose a shim would have worked as well .
No probs after that and I've shot about 300rds without anything goofy happening .

i had/have that mount too, but i lost the cross pin and screw. it was too wide too and i hadn't discovered shims yet :)
I ordered a ATI mount so we'll see what happens eh.

well, A++ to the mount, took the mild recoil of the .303. I was surprised by how little felt recoil there was. I could've pulled MOA groups at 100yrds with the surp, but there was a delayed fire with all the rounds so the round sometimes wouldn't finally go off till a split second later and my hold wasn't dead center. the consistantsy of the ammo was part too, but 2 rounds were about an inch apart.
