WTB Beer Can Mortar
« on: May 25, 2006, 02:36:45 PM »
I have the need for a mortar,I want to buy a complete unit from someone in the N.C.- Va.- S.C.  states so that I can get some training also. I live in central N.C. if there is anyone that has or makes these type mortars please let me know. I am new to this site but a shooter form NSS-A told me I might find what I'm looking for here.
                                                       Thanks,

Buffalo58 -

Welcome to the board!

There are a number of folks here that make them, some in your area too.

Beer can caliber is good - easy to find ammo.

It is too bad that you don't live out west.  I go to gun shows with cannonmaker, who has a link on this page - Neff Cannons.  I am Rick's brother-in-law.

We are making an instructional DVD for the firing of all of his products.

Beer Can/Soda Pop Can mortars are awesome.  We have fired blanks and cans.

This is my first post on Graybeard.  I have been a lurker for almost a year.  I really like this site.

Yes he does.  At the Salt Lake Gun show we call it a soda pop can mortar on Saturday and a beer can mortar on Sunday.

It is a 1/2 scale Coehorn that is completely to scale but the inside of the barrel.
