Why isn't the 75th Anniversary edition of the Walther PPK



not chambered in .32ACP? Isn't that the caliber that the PPK originally came in?

PS: I know that a .380ACP is more effective than a .32ACP but I would imagine that this gun wouldn't be used for that purpose.

I would ONLY guess that they changed the loading because of insufficency.
The Walther was chambered in .380 for many years and it became the standard of the weapon so, therefore; I would assume the .380 is considered the standard by them, for this weapon.
But, that is only a guess.

Sir Knight - many of those Walthers may be kept in display cases but hopefully just as many will be carried and shot.  Engraved and decorated with gold or not, those babies are made to shoot and I'm willing to bet that Walther will guarantee the gold plating, too.  JMHO.  Mikey.
