Federal TSX
« on: June 13, 2006, 04:24:46 AM »
I have a model 70 supergradeIII  30-06  24" barrel 1 in 10 twist  Leupold 1 3/4 - 6 VXIII Leupold QR rings and bases. I have done a bit of work to the gun ,Pillar and epoxy bed action, free float barrel. Had a smith do the trigger and I was getting 1 inch to 1 1/2 at 100 yards Remington corelokt's I tried Federal's TSX 180 Gr. and first shot 1/2 below dead center next 2 shots absolut dead center 2 shots one hole. next 2 shots 1/2 left shots touching. I have read allot of post about the TSX as often being the most accurate bullet for allot of rifles, well add one more ! I will hand load these ( 165s  or 168s this winter) but for now I am set for Africa !

I hear this alot & it amazing when you consider that many guns don't like the old style X bullet at all.
You will not make peace with the Bluecoats, you are free to go.
