I have often posted that if you buy a 30-06 and it will not shoot well using a good 165gr bullet in front of 57grs of IMR4350 right from the beginning, sell the rifle and save yourself a lot of grief. :grin:
10-4 on not taking loads on the internet as being gospel. But then, every load, whether from a load book or hearsay, should be worked up to. I just posted a load of 57grs of Imr 4350 in a 30-06. I've used it for years and killed a whole bunch of stuff with it, as, I'll bet, have others. That's no guarentee that it won't blow your rifle into small, smoking shards of steel. :eek:
