I am thinking about putting a scope on my 1894 C. It looks like it is already drilled and tapped, but I'm not sure. As you can tell, I'm not a gunsmith :lol: .
I plan to use a Leupold M-8 4 power that I already have.

Go for it. Yes it has been D & T'd from the factory. I prefer 20mm scopes with no front bell on leverguns. Just personal preference, looks cleaner to me.

Thanks DD. I too prefer no big bells on levers. The M-8 is pretty slim and should look good. I'll take it off a 30-06 I bought used and put the bigger scope on it. Need the magnification so I can count the points when I hunt PA. :lol:
