I live in a heavily farm populated area that offers alot of ponds for sishing i am interested in bass fishing in them what should i look for in each pond as far as good spots would go? what kind of gear do i need to bring with me? Are there good and bad times to fish in them?

ponds offer alot of chances to catch an assortment of fish. fly fishing in ponds is a great way to spend an afternoon or a weekend. if i were you id look for some ponds with the amount of trees on the bank so you can cast easier. also clearer ponds are easier to fish- i think. look for cover, trees, moss, anything the fish can relate to and re-tie often, you never know when a nice sized bass will take your fly- after catchin blue gills and sun fish for hours, a big one hits- its quite a suprise.
keep us posted and tell how it goes.
