I have an Accumark in 338-378 and so far love it.  I use the factory brake, recoil is more than a .243 but not by much.  I have a Night Force 3.5X15X50 mounted and intend to use it for long range shooting.  I currently shoot a Nosler 250gr Partition, but am going to try the Nosler 225 gr bonded bullet, it is a boattail.  I hand load and am using the maximum load of IMR 7828, with no pressure signs.  I am going to start loading the .225s with RETUMBO.  I hand load for all my shooting.  Four out of five shots were touching at 300 yards, (I pulled one shot).  My goal is to hit a 9" target at 800 yards by August.  I will be using the brake for all shooting of this gun.  And believe me hearing protection is a requirement.

What Is A Veteran?
A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

Well I've just changed my cal  .
No longer getting a 338-378.Still getting a Accumark but now in 340Wby Mag.

Fare wait from the US on these(338-378).And always liked the 340Wby cal, which are in stock.Thought bugger-it that will do.
On the plus side components are abit cheaper but you do loose a little power   .
No brake this time & a hell of alot cheaper($600) in this combo.Should be in my hot hands soon.
