lk93 loads help

bought one today lk93.100.00 mint.hope this was a good deal.
now can you 93 shooters help with what to stuff down the tube.
50 cal used just for deer hunting shots 125 max

Isn't the LK93 a Wolverine?  If so, are you shooting 209s or #11s etc? 

I have had tremendous accuracy from the get go with my Wolverine209 rifle.  All I need to do is load 100 grains of 777 and a 300 grain sabot and watch the small 100 yards groups begin.  I love my rifle.  I outshoot guys with much more expensive rifles with boring regularity.  I even out shoot many people with their high powered centerfires

Anyway, I hope you enjoy your new rifle.  Shoot straight and keep your powder dry.

My Lk93 has the #11 caps and I use knight 300 gr sabots over 100 grs of true black powder (and pyrodex rs) and get nice little groups out to 100 yards.
In Maryland to hunt on some public land you must qualitfy with your rifle it is simple put 3 shots in a paper plat at 50 yards I have take several deer with this rifle and love it

Good deal on a very solid muzzle loader.  It isn't the fanciest or the newest, but it is lightweight, easy on the recoil and very simple to clean and shoot.


Mine is a real tack driver.  My sweet spot load for it is 80 grains of 777 fffg, a 220 grain Dead Center sabot, and regular ol #11 precussion caps.  It will shoot a ragged hole three shot group that will measure out at .4"!!!  My customized 7mag will only do slightly better on my best day of shooting.

I will also say not to skimp on optics just because it is a muzzle loader.  I have a Leupold VX-II 3x9x40 on mine.
