Does anyone know if you can mount a centerfire barrel(.17 rem.) on a rimfire action (.17 hmr). Some probably think this is a stupid question, but i need to know :-)   thanks

Welcome to GBO, Caleb!  :D It may fit but it won't fire because of the rimfire firing pin location, it won't hit the primer which is a good thing, the rimfire SS1 frame isn't strong enough for most centerfire calibers, if it did fire, it may very well ruin the frame.

Question along these lines;  H&R lists a three barrel combination deal on their site.  223, 22lr and 17hmr.  How would this work?
                                                                     Thanks, Ian

Probably and offset bore on the rimfire barrels like on the Versa-Pack .22/.410, but with an SB2 frame.

Quickdtoo,  you are correct the chamber is offset.  They just look wrong with the chamber off center (to me anyway) oh well it is at least HANDI to be able to shoot rimfire barrels and centerfire from one frame.
