Anyone have any experiances with the Bohning Blazer? I just got some in the mail yesterday to try, and am going to get them on some arrows tonight. They are a lot smaller than I thought. Seems hard to believe, but we'll see.

I shot them on carbon arrows all last summer, very accurate with field points or smaller broadheads (90 grain Muzzy 4 blade). I glued them on with a couple of degrees of offset. They were shot through a Whisker Biscuit, and showed no signs of wear at all.
I also tried them on aluminum arrows (2213) and while they were accurate with field tips, they didn't seem to control a large broadhead as well as I would have liked.

Yep i have been useing them for about a year now.Great vains.
As been stated they are great for field tips,and i believe they would be good for macanacls.I don shoot the mac,so i havent tryied them.
If you shot through a WB.just be sure to put a drop of glue in frount and back of vane to keep them from being ripped off,you should do that with any vain and with feathers.I have tried them with the G5 montic and they flew real good,BUT,with other broadheads they didnt do as well for some reason.Im going to try the next size up, and will let yas know how they preform with different heads.pan.

Granddaughter shoots 35# compound, carbon arrows with 85 grain 3 blabe Montec broadhead. Will the Blazer vanes stabilize low velocity arrows?

I shoot blazers on my GoldTIps and they are quite a match, I shot my first robbin hood with the blazer vanes.

i dont know the answer to that question...id say go n try one out at a retail shop that has arrows with em on.

they shoot fantastic out of my bow. the downrange speed retention i have is definitely noticeable. i noticed nothing on my pins at 20 yards...but i could easily see it at 30 + yards..i was shooting much higher at further distances.
