I have read and shot a lot doing research for my upcoming purchase, and I am leaning towards a Mathews Swithchback.  My first new bow in 15 years so I am really excited!  My old XI Flatlinner seemed OK until I shot a Mathews.

i cant really come up with one in your criteria...cuz price really does play a big part in it.

but id say one of the martins where price is a consideration...

or im stuck between bowtech and hoytt where price is no object.

Hands down the Mathews Swithchback is the bow to beat in my opinion.  :D

I just bought a Switchback LD its a good bow but I STILL like my Hoyt Magnatec Redline
If you've got a bow that you can shoot, don't get caught up in the new bow hype ;)

I've been kicking around the idea of getting a new bow...but I'm on the fence since I shoot my current so well.  I'm going to change over to carbon arrows and a fall away type rest if I keep my current bow.  I'm stubborn in my ways I guess, been shooting aluminum for so many years it's hard to switch.  I can keep 6 arrows under 3" at 30 yards most of the time.

As for which bow I currently like if price wasn't a concern...either the Switchback XT or the Browning Illusion.  The Browning has to be the smoothest bow I've ever had the pleasure to draw.

Then again I agree with the above if you can shoot it well why switch.  Look for improvements, I replaced my cables and string last year...cables for the first time and string for the third.  Made a difference in the consistency.
