I am currently working on developing a load with the 260 Acubond and the 225 Hornady spire. The acubonds are proving to be very accurate, but I haven't found the right load for the 225s yet. Best groups are around 3-4", which is good enough for what I would use them for, but not great. I am up to 48 grains of H4895 with the 225s and 48 grains IMR 4064 with the 260s and there are no pressure signs. I am using a 23" factory blue barrel. The data that SSK sent with the dies shows Varget getting the 270 hornardy up to 2532FPS. If I can get the 260 Acubond around 2500, that would be a great elk and moose stomper, as well as perfect for large hogs and bear. I am using 40 grains of H4895 with the Sierra 200 flat noses and it is very pleasant to shoot and accurate. Probably the load I will use the most for Deer. I can always kick the powder up, but right now it is right aroun 375Win ballistics, which is plenty for deer.
Good shooting,
Brian
