NEF 22/410 Versa Pack Upgrading to new sights
«

I just purchased an NEF 22/410 Youth Versa Pak at my local Wal Mart. I want to teach my girls how to shoot iron sights but also looking at upgrading to a receiver sight and/or a scope. The rifle barrel appears to be drilled for mounts (3 screw unless 1 is hidden under base) but what fits? I would like Williams WGS series receiver sight if possible. Also does the front sight need to be replaced also? For scopes what bases fit? Any help is appreciated.

Look thru the NEF/H&R Centerfire FAQ and Help sticky, your answers can be found there as the barrel is apparently drilled and tapped for a scope rail, the WGRS uses the 2 rear holes.

Scope base that fits this is best order from H&R- NEF. And weaver bo 82 fits.
I think you need to change front sight if you put a peep sight on. I did on
my 45-70. Take care and teach the youngens to shoot! I think you picked
the right rifle- shotgun to teach them with. just MHO. Marv.
