I'm getting way ahead of myself I know, but I was wondering if theres anywhere in western Washington that allows cannons other than some remote area.

I live on the Olympic Peninsula east of Port Angeles and when I shoot anything except fireworks I just go a few miles (9 to 13) from my home into the national forest to a shooting area. Last year, for the first time ever I got checked out by the fire dept. They wanted to make sure I was not shooting off fireworks. According to them it was the smoke cloud we were creating that got their attention. We were shooting 37mm's. I popped the cap on over 100 rds in under 2 hours.
I may not be completely sane, but at least I don't think I have the power to influence the weather.
