Lyman 57 Peep Sights

I need some help.  I need to know the inside diameter of the lyman 57 peep without the aperature installed.

I don't have one with me to measure but the opening is just right for use as a ghost ring. All of my muzzleloaders have peeps and I remove the apeture on all of them.

That's what i want to know.  Is it as large as the XS Ghost Rings?  Do you shoot with both eyes open?  And how accurate is it at 50 yds?

I use the peep too but I am going to make a SMALL hole for it as I like to have tighter groups. The factory hole is too big if you ask me.

Williams makes apertures of different hole sizes that screw right in.

You want to know how the accuracy is at 50 yards with the Lyman 57 SML, How is this? The large squairs are 1" the small ones are 1/4"
