I was going thru some pages and found the section on exploded cannon and saw your picture. Was that taken during Rusty Scupper daze in Washington last year? If it was taken on saturday during the 2 to 5 battle sail then I am in the picture on the Lady Washington wearing a maroon raincoat portside aft. It makes me smile every time I think about that trip, sure had fun. I was there again this year on the Hawiian Chieftain, again I had a smile you couldn't grind off. Decided this was going to be a yearly event for me. My Bride says I've got a fragmented personality cause sometimes I play cowboy and sometimes a pirate. But one thing never change since I was able to walk is the love of the seas. Arrrrrh

Thats us rusty barrels ..., We dont get out too much with our service., therefore when we can we like to do it as the pirate.  Perhaps next year we should connect., make a plan., and take over the ship?  I am sure glad the Lady Washingtons people took over the Chieftain. those 2 and Lynx make for some fyne battlesails. The Hazey appearance of this picture is "Lots of Black Powder !!!"
