I'm interested in your views on the best scope options for the SKS.

Any help appreciated.

SKS Scope Recommendations?

Problem isn't really the scopes, It is the mounts.
I have tried 3 different kind and all of them move around a bit.
There is a new peep type sight that attaches to the very rear
of the receiver that looks very promising though!

The only good scopemount options are the mosin style mount or the AK rail scopemount either one can be used with success.

When i had the dragunov stock on my sks i put a scope mount on mine that replaced the spring cover behind the bolt, and it moved horridly, even when we put a shim in the pin it still moved, there is one that bolts onto the cover and where you can still see the iron sights if i'm not mistaken but i'm not sure who made it. I didnt want to spend much on the scope so i bought a 4x32 simmons turkey scope the one with the diamond. Personally I like the iron sights better on an sks.
I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?"
Well, to tell the truth I shoot a Springfield XD so it doesnt really matter.
