Let's not forget the Vision!
Not hard to figure EBSCO's suits are making the decisions at Knight these days and Tony Knight must be SICK with the JUNK coming out of Knight Rifles lately. The Revolution/Revolution II and Vision are about the clunkiest/ugliest muzzleloaders on the market these days. Just MHO.
I figured he made the move for more money too, but he says he is compensated less at T/C than at Knight. The only thing is a poster boys life expectancy at one company will come to an end and he is right about the JUNK that Knight is putting out these days. The Red Plastic Jacket is not worth a crap in my opinion, except to Knight racking up sales every time someon pulls the trigger on one of their rifles. I think he is looking down the raod for the long haul and T/C seems to have their ship going in the right direction IMHO, who wouldn't want to get on board. Knight on the other hand is headed in the wrong direction IMHO, just one look at the Revolution II and Vision will tell you that. The only thing saving Knight is the DISC Extreme and the Resurrection of the Bighorn, the Wolverine is only sold as a Youth Value Pack this year. Knight/Green Mountain make very good barrels, too bad EBSCO can't put them on some new offerings that will actually sell!
I think Jim made the right choice jumping ship, for whatever reason. Who could promote the Revolution II and Vision with a clear concience? Not ME!
