W-W Super headstamp
« on: July 14, 2006, 03:59:41 PM »
Noticed some brass at the range the other day headstamped "W-W Super".  Is this Winchester brass (the W-W standing for Winchester - Western)?  If so, is all their new brass coming out with that headstamp now, or just certain lines.  I saw it on .223 Rem and 7X57 Mauser cases.

This is a Winchester headstamp.  It's been around for a long time but not on all Winchester brass.

I have some 30-30 nickle plated brass that i have had for over 15 years with the W-W Super head stamp on it and it is still going strong .

As long as you keep the loads below max it will last many , many loadings .
