Ghillie rug
« on: July 14, 2006, 10:33:38 AM »
Well I'm wanting to buy a ghillie rug and make it to fit my remington 700, but i was curious if the burlap would affect the blueing of the rifle if its left on the rifle for a long time, i know it will if its got any moisture on it of course but if its dry would it? Once I get my Savage in all matte black i shouldnt even worry about it i would think. Anyone have any experience with this?
I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?"
Well, to tell the truth I shoot a Springfield XD so it doesnt really matter.

Remove burlap when not using as it attracks moisture,I made one and a poncho.
