Remmy 750 .308 Semi and Small Base Dies/Jamming-----Resolved
« on: August 25, 2006, 03:10:18 PM »
Well I just got finished resizing my cases using my new RCBS small base die. Well guess what, the bases are still 0.001 inches LARGER than Remington factory ammo.
But they are .002 inches smaller than that produce by my full length resizing die. That is, my cases out of my standard die are .003 inches larger than Remmy factory ammo. Maybe I am on to something????????

Any comments or suggestions

Do the resized/reloaded cases chamber in the rife without a problem? If they do I wouldn't worry about it.

If they don't chamber...are you certain your sizing die is coming down far enough on the case? Re-adjust the sizing die bringing it down some, resize some different cases and see how the measure. If th ey measurement is smaller reload them and see how they chamber. If that does work maybe your sizing die is defective.
