There is of course nothing like a good trigger job. Dropping a trigger in does not do that really. However, I do not care for the Marlin flop and so I simply eliminated that from the stock triggers my Marlins came with. I have used two do it yourself methods. One is to tack weld the two pieces together and the other, which is simplier yet, I take the trigger out and wrap a single piece of copper wire, obtained from stripping a piece of household wiring BX cable, (one piece solid type) for enough to handle easily and then just wrap and twist. Cut off the excess, tap it all flat and reinstall the trigger. Works to take out all the flop and can be returned to normal should I (heaven forbid) sell the gun.
