Hunt camp euchre

Tom:

I think it and cribbage are pretty well general fare in Ontario hunt camps.

I'm originally from the south coast (Niagara), and most of the camps in my area of Parry Sound are from that region as well.  Euchre is played to some degree in most of them.  Ours has been getting away from it but in recent years I've noticed a resurgence.

I wonder if other areas of the country are the same?

We have three guys that have card memories. They know every card thats been played. I play onluck alone. Usually lose. Euchre, cribbage, and poker are camp staples. There are a few others, depending on how many players we have.
