need good gunsmith for rem 541
« on: April 25, 2006, 02:43:11 PM »
I have a remington 541 custom bolt rifle. It shoots good but I want it to be made into a real tack driver. Is there anybody out there that can recommend a competent gunsmith that can do the job correctly. I have heard about big name shops doing bad job and not really standing by there work. Just looking for the job to be done correctly the first time. Thank You any help would be great..

Bill Calfee is da man. He's busy and you'll wait a long time, but he knows his stuff.

Brian Voelker out of Iowa would be the guy to call.

They say Brian can make a 541 shoot quite a bit better than they do.
