Leupold Reticle change?
« on: August 08, 2006, 09:30:49 AM »
Has anyone changed a reticle on a Leupold scope?  Do you go to Leupold or and after market company?

Thanks,

I have sent both my VX-IIs 3x9x40s back to Leupold and had them changed to the Heavy Duplex...It cost about $80...As I got older the regular Duplex was harder to see, the Heavy Duplex stands out better in low light conditions, I like them....

PS...Both are used for deer...one a Ruger M-77 in .243...the other a Knight Disc...

I had a German #4 reticle installed by Premier Reticle. Premier Reticle is not an option now. I have been told Leupold does good work.
