I contacted Burris and they confirmed the Handgun scopes are made in the USA and did not specify which FFII's where made off shore.  Nor did they provide the location.  But they stressed the scopes where made to the same standard.

i'd be willing to bet his "bs" comment was to them saying it was made up to the same quality as the US ones
I know what you're thinking. "Did he fire six shots or only five?"
Well, to tell the truth I shoot a Springfield XD so it doesnt really matter.

Is there any way these comments can be supported with anything remotely resembling fact?  Once again, I have yet to hear anyone on any forum bashing a Phillipine made Burris scope.  In fact, for that matter, I have yet to hear anyone complain about the workmanship of current Nikon scopes  Anyone care to guess where they are made??

If anyone can please show me how these Phillipine manufactured scopes are of less quality than their American counterparts, I would be greatly appreciative.
