Combat kit upgrade

Hello, I am on a waiting list for a Handi 45/70. I called NEF and they said the buffalo classic barrel can be fit to this receiver and that the handi forend will fit. I had planned on putting the kit from "combathunting.com". I was wondering if anyone else had done this kit? I am awaiting my 6x20x50 scope also.

Welcome to GBO! If you're referring to the ATI Shotforce stock, there have been a few, but most consider it somewhat toy-like in construction and appearance. The Choate Varmint stock is a much nicer stock that is built well, very well liked here, very funtional at reducing felt recoil from those that use it on the .45-70. I seriously doubt the ATI stock would last long on a .45-70 with anything more than mild trapdoor loads.
