Topper 12 Ga. 36" barrel
« on: August 06, 2006, 10:12:43 AM »
I saw a Topper 12 Ga. 3" chamber 36" full choke barrel at a shop last week. Price was less than 100.00.  Is this desireable??

Paid 16 dollars for one over 40 years ago and it is still in the feed room,it is a Turkey/Goose gun plus all varmints.

If it was in good shape I'd pay that, but of course I'd try to talk him down a little.

My folks use to call that tube the "Long Tom", and ultimate of all Turkey guns...
I'd love to have one.

Actually,  this one is a Model O88
As it reads on the reciever. I sure hate the plastic trigger guard. Wish they made them in steel.
