Looking for some scope information..
« on: September 12, 2006, 04:14:04 PM »
This might be a bit off topic, but I know many here use them. Bushnell 3200 and 4200 scopes.
I was looking for the recoil testing they put through them. I remember reading it once, about so many repeated poundings, in the thousands if memory serves me correct, of recoil testings. And what it would be equal too...
Any know where I can find this info?
After I find the answer, Tim or Mac, you can delete this thread.
I'm just picking brains here ;)
Thanks
-Aaron

3200 riflescopes feature a rugged, one-piece aluminum tube. And, like the 4200, this scope is tested to rigorous standards – recoil tested to 1,000 rounds. The 3200 offers everything the avid hunter requires.

Finally, our Elite® 4200 scopes offer some of the largest magnification ranges in the industry for optimum versatility in the most challenging hunting situations. The scope's rugged design is recoil tested to 10,000 rounds of a .375 H&H magnum. If you're a serious hunter the Elite 4200 will do justice to your commitment.

myarmor...my most recent scope purchase was a nikon buckmaster 3x9 in june...i looked hard at a 3200 3x9 in the sporting goods store i prefered the 3200..the "buckmaster" had slightly longer eye relief...so i pulled the trigger...on the nikon...BUT...a 3200 elite may be near in my future ??? there is no way to know what a scope really is in the store..& you know that of course...BUT that glass loked good....good luck.

3200 - 1000 rounds .375 H&H
4200 - 10.000 rounds .375 H&H

Have both, 3200 5x15x50 & 4200 4x16x50. Both are great scopes with the 4200 maybe a bit brighter. Both are bright enough to get you in trouble with the GW !!!!
