Bushnell Night Hawk??
« on: August 08, 2006, 04:01:17 PM »
Does anyone have any experience with this:

http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4012470

I'm not seeing much for reviews out there.  Our local Walmart has one on clearance for $60 and I was wondering if it was would serve any purpose as far as hunting goes.
The problem with troubleshooting is....sometimes it shoots back!

Heck--I just got one for the coolness factor----figured for $59 I couldn't go wrong----also picked up Nikon compact bino's for $30 at the same time.

Have you used it yet?  I was only able to find 2 "reviews" of it online.  Both complained about how bright the Screen was, and that you can only see things 20-30 feet away.

Looks like the LCD brightness defeats the purpose of the "night vision" aspect.   ???

If you're looking to be stealthy---like the guy in Silence of the Lambs-----its not what you want.

If you're just looking to view things in the dark---it works quite well-----you can also hook it up to a camcorder to record night images---think Paris Hilton----lololololol
