It has really taken off. There have been many real nice items offered up there. The way the shipping works is the person receiving the item is reasonable for shipping costs although there are many that just choose to include shipping. It really is up to you. Thanks Dale

I have been around. I don't post here like I did because I don't own Handie's anymore. I still visit this NEF & HR forum every day and I still do post here most every week on my limited knowledge of the Handie's. Thanks for wondering about me though. Dale

Hey Dale... I didn't know you got rid of your handi. What was the reasoning for that out of curiousity? I had been wondering where you were as well. I have seen your posts on other threads but hadn't seen you on the H&R side for a while.

The reason I got rid of the Handie's is because I do a lot of Groundhog hunting here in Pa and was not getting the accuracy I needed on shots 300 yards and further. I traded one Handi in on my new Remington 700 SPS Varmint 243 and sold another to get this rifle. It really is a tack driver. I can shoot 1/4" groups all day long at 100 yards. Here is a target I shot at 300 yards that measures 7/8". That is a Quater in the picture. Dale

Well heck with accuracy like that you can't really say anything bad about that decision. Sounds like everything worked out okay for you.

I can still see getting a 7MM Mag Handi when they hit the stores. I may even pick one up in another caliber some day. I do kind of miss the simplesty of them. Dale

Dale,

I know what you mean by that. You have to love the little single shots, and you really have to love the price. I am thinking that I will get a new AR for some long range work and another handi in both .22 hornet (if I can find one) and a .500. Then I should pretty much be settled with guns until I can get my FFL.

That Remington R-15 has really caught my eye. It comes in the 204 Ruger and the 223. Dale

That is one Remmy I don't like.
