P 90 vs 345
« on: August 03, 2006, 02:15:01 PM »
Ok, I am hooked on Ruger's now. I have rented the P 90 and it is a LASER to the bullseye. I have looked at the P 345, but there are none to rent. Can anyone please tell me if they are as good as the P 90 and how do you like the 345.

Never shot a P90, but I do have a P95, P94, and P345. My P345 fits my hand better than the others and is just as accurate. It has never had a failure of any kind with any brand or style ammo. Maybe a minor thing, but does not have the swinging link, so reassembly is slightly easier. If you like Rugers, you won't be disappointed.

Ihave a P95,P90 and P345. P90 is most fun to shoot because of it's weight and size, P3456 easier to carry. All My Ruger pistols are very accurate and have never had  ANY problems..........You can'r go wrong with any of them........

I bought a 345 and hope there are no problems with it. I'll find out this weekend when I go to the range.

The p345 had some serious problems when it first came out, esp. for a defensive gun.  They have been fixed however, and the older guns can be fixed at no charge.  The 345s are great guns.  Ive found them to shoot acceptably, and be stone reliable.  Their size and ergonomics are great for me as well.
