30-30 AI loads

Hi fellas, First time on this forum. I've got a 21 inch T/C custom shop carbine barrel on order from E. Arthur Brown  for my older contender frame I picked up. I debated a lot of calibers before going with 30-30 AI. What can I expect in the way of performance and can you help with some suggestions on deer loads? Thanks, bc p.s. I'm new to contender hunting.
