Ruger Blackhawk convertible question

Does anyone have one of these?  I'm looking at the 45 Colt/45ACP version.  How would you load the 45 ACP?  I would think it would take moon clips and removing the cylinder each time.  Any ideas?

Nope, you don't need and can't use moon clips with a single action.  Your ejector rod will knock them out just fine and you load them just the same as you do with the .45 Colt.

The moon clips are strictly for revolvers with swing-out cylinders that eject the empties all at once by catching the rims on the ejector.  Not a problem with a single action.

Get one.  I've got two of the 3-screw variants with 4-5/8 barrels and they are a definite kick to shoot.

I have a bunch of .45 Colt/.45 ACP stainless Blackhawks. I love them. I also found a guy who modified his .45 ACP cylinder to use .45 AR brass. I did that to mine. Now I use .45 AR in both my Blackhawks and S&W Model 25-2 and 625-8.
