I definitely have some type of mental disorder concerning these dang Encores.  I sold my .25-06 factory barrel without ever taking it out of the box and ordered a Fox Ridge custom 26" heavy barrel in .270 Winchester.  I really had my heart set on a heavy contour barrel all along.  It will be a few weeks before I get it.

The "Encore Flu" has no cure and can only be controlled by buying more barrels!!!!!  Sounds like you have it bad!!!!!!  LOL

I have already sold every long gun I had except for one old Rem 870 that I shoot at ducks with.  I can't wait for my Fox Ridge barrel to get here so I can check her out.  I think I am going to have it dipped in Realtree Hardwoods at K and D Gunsmithing in Georgia and make me a deer slayer out of it!  I have nothing but time to kill right now. :cry:
