According to this someone shot a strange looking polar bear. And after DNA testing it's been confirmed that it's a hybrid polar/grizzly. That has got to count as strange.

Not as strange as you may think. Alaskan guides and Indains have known for years they occasionlly mix. They aren't really hybreds in the truest sense like mules. They are fertal and can reproduce. In areas where whitetale and mule deer live together they sometimes cross. We call them blacktails although that's just what we call them and may not be correct.

i saw the article about that that bear in a outdoor mag, surprised this is the first one thats surfaced. kinda like the old joke, what does a amorous polar bear have sex with? annnnnything it wants!
