Dane Burns has a trade-in Colt for sale on his site/at pistolsmith, for $850.
It has two barrels and the oictures show a pretty nice weapon. Calibers are .38 super and 9X23.
It is a series 80, which is not my favorite, due to the safety. It does have some upgrades though.
Anywho, I have been thinking about this for a while now and pondering it. I am wanting a .38 super but in a long slide, probably from STI.
I seem to run to dedicated guns, though I do have a Sig with both the .40 and .357 barrels and a STI 9mm which was reamed by Dawson to accept 9X23 and .38 super.
Anyway, I want a longslide and I would like it in a different caliber than .45. I guess you can't have too may .45's though.
Excuse the rambleings, but I thought I would open this up for thought too any who would have an opinion.
Blessings
