Peace Corps gun policy?,3rd World gun policies?

Anyone know if the Peace Corps has a policy on firearms?,are there any gun policiesin Thirds World countries where the Peace Corps operates?
Seems like with all the nut cases/fanatics in the Thirds World, one would be foolish to go there unarmed.
Question is:can you legally do so?
Incidently,the NRA/ILA doesn't have information on this-already checked.

If it has the word peace in it do you really think they would sanction you having a gun???????? I am sure that the peace core is run by a bunch of liberal anti gun/war,  tree hugging, animal rights pukes. Your post has to be a put on right? Jim
