Largest bobcat and gray fox?

I've seen a 12 lb gray fox, I'm sure they get a little bigger. Bobcats, I've killed them in the 30+ class but I hear the record comes from Colorado at 67 lbs I believe. Anyone with other information?

A 12lb grey is pretty decent sized. I've killed a few that pushed 15lbs, but it's rare. I've killed reds in the 15-16lb range, with a very few that 17-18lbs.

My biggest bobcat to date was just over 39lbs, but a good friend of mine traps, and has caught a lot of bobcats over 40lbs. The biggest one I've ever personally seen he caught in a snare, and it weighed just over 53lbs.

I read an old newspaper article somewhere on the net one time that I'm thinking was printed around 1930 or so that said a 76lb bobcat was killed in PA if my memory serves me right.

A 79lb bobcat is a short tailed mt lion lol.

My heaviest Bob Cat weighed 52 pounds, Never bothered to weigh a fox of either species so i cant comment. The cat was cought in the Jemez Mountains, The next heaviest Bob Cat was cought in the Burro Mt.s and he weighed 49 pounds.

never have checked the weight on the Bobs.and the foxes have never been very big.I do cary a scale with me,But never have used it.
