rangefinder
« on: August 22, 2006, 08:56:56 PM »
Looking at buying a rangefinder can't stretch to a leica or a swaro, but have read that the nikon units are Ok. I also heard that the bushnell yardagepro 800 compact is the same as the nikon 800. How does this rangefinder rate?

Also, is there any difference between the nikon 800 and the nikon monarch 800 (they seem to have similar features?)

Cheers

John

I have the Nikon 800 and love it.  I did think that the Bushnell YP 800 had better light retention than the Nikon after looking at it post-purchase, but the Nikon will work just fine.  GL with your purchase, a range finder sure is nice to have!
